The Department of French and Italian at Princeton University seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor specializing in eighteenth-century French literature and culture.  A demonstrated interest in interdisciplinarity would be an advantage.  The successful candidate will have native or near-native French; clear evidence of scholarly excellence and of potential distinction in research and publication; and evidence of a serious and successful commitment to teaching.  Applicants should include a cover letter of application, curriculum vitae, and contact information for at least three references online at https://puwebp.princeton.edu/AcadHire/ .
